God despises evil. So did God create it in the first place? The only reason we have evil in this world is to allow us to have free will. If evil didn't exist and everyone and everything was absolute pure good, then what would the point of life be? What would be the everyday challenges? Evil existing in this world gives us the opportunity to CHOOSE the good and runaway from the evil while coming closer to Hashem.
