The Holiness of Yom HaZikaron

Hello Chevra, Yom HaZikaron falls out on Tuesday April 25th, 2023 This is the Israeli National Day of Remembrance of all of those who fought and died for the Jewish people to be reunited with the homeland. In today's shiur, Rav Moshe Chaim dives into the intricacies of the Neshama (soul) and how we are all inherently connected with God at a very profound level. Millions, tens of millions of Jews (maybe more) have been killed for the simple fact that they were Jews. Why is it that throughout history so many nations and people have, and continue, to seek the destruction of the Jewish people? And why have all of their attempts been futile? The simple answer: The Jews were chosen by God to be a beacon of light in an otherwise dark world. Some people are not such fans of this fact. Funnily enough, all those people who tried to get rid of us are the ones who aren't around today. Baruch Hashem! Let's all take a moment during Yom HaZikaron and learn some Torah in the merit of all those who put their lives on the line to allow us to do just that!
